Lectures of the Craft

The three traditional Lectures of the Craft are the natural Extension of the 1st Degree in Freemasonry, also known as 'Entered Apprentice', but they are neither superior nor subordinate to that Degree.

As a Brother Freemason participating in the Consolidated Rite, it is recommended that you study the Lectures of the Craft for a minimum of four months after you have attained the 3rd Degree, Master Mason. You may also wish to take up an office in your Craft Lodge, which will help you deepen your understanding of Freemasonry.

Once a Brother feels familiar with the ritual and symbolism he has encountered in his Craft Lodge, he is encouraged to seek further Masonic instruction by becoming a Mark Master Mason.
